would you leave

If your partner died how many of you would return home? would you be able to afford to move back or would it be difficult financially?

If my hubby died, yes I'd still move to New Zealand. But I wouldn't move back to the UK or France (other place I've lived) as it's just not home anymore, and is too crowded and expensivel

If you had asked this 1 year ago I would have said no because this is where my family (kids) are so it is home but in the last year my son has moved back to England and seems very settled there now and my daughter may be moving elsewhere in the next few years so I don't know if I would stay now or not.

Mind you as for being able to afford it.......that might be a problem so staying here might be the only answer. I know it's something we should all think about as we get older but I do like to bury my head in the sand..........

I suppose it would depend if there is anything back there for you ...
And of course the older you get... and the longer you stay here
the more difficult it becomes ...
For myself ..I can't see the remotest possibilty ....
I don't even really want to visit there again ...

Its not closed brits flock there:)
you also have a misconception about Wyoming I only were a coat 7 days in the year and that when I have to plough the drive way. the seat warmers in the car work well and no thermal wear is needed.
