ESPN will present comprehensive coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup June 11-July 11 from 10 stadiums in nine cities across South Africa. All 64 matches will be aired live and in high definition on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, and extensive coverage on ESPN360.com and ESPN Mobile TV. In addition, 2010 FIFA World Cup studio programs, including pre-match, halftime and post-match segments, will be presented in high definition.

I wish Comcast would get Fox Sports in HD. There's a few soccers games on Saturday/Sunday now from the premiership on ESPN in HD and it's awesome.

I still miss the ole BBC coverage. Been away from the UK for 10 years now and I still miss their coverage of the World Cup and Olympics.

Glad to see it'll be on ABC, We're hoping to have a wee party on the 12th with our American friends, we'll be rooting for Ingerland, Scotland didn't qualify as usual.

I'm a cheapskate and don't have cable.

This is great. Cheers OP for the heads up re: ESPN and HD.

I thought prior to moving from the mother country that there would be scant premiership football but FSC and ESPN soon changed that. I love the use of HD as well.

Anyone got FSC plus? What do you think? - I see it also has rugby union - being a wasps fan, i would love to get this extra channel but will somehow need to convince the wife. :unsure:

Am watching the Man U v Chelsea game on an internet stream at present. It's from FSC. The ads that come on at half time are making me remember my short time in NJ.
