working in US as LTD consultancy

Anyone with experience of working in the USA as a UK based LTD company and the visas necessary for this,
I have been told as long as the LTD company is primarily based in the UK and invoicing is from the UK, no work visa is needed for support services and film producers..?

errr.....you'd probably need visa's...but it depends on what your doing.

and speaking of film, we've got MTV Russia that were supposed to be doing a piece on us for MTV europe, anyway, that's been put off for a couple of weeks because of delays getting visa's for the whole crew.

There's also a visa section which might get you better answers.

aren't producers/directors exempt, and if they are an overseas film company?

Personally, it would be IT services.

I daresay that very few foreign workers are "exempt" from US immigration law. As for your questions, posing them to an immigration lawyer would be a good idea... include complete details about what kind of work you are trying to do. I think you might find that your options are very limited.

If you are working in the USA you need authorisation to do so.

I'd be shocked if you didn't have to get a visa.
