withdrawing a petition
Hi hi,
I submitted my I-129f petition a couple of months ago, and we still haven't heard anything. However, due to *several* changes in our circumstances, we've decided that I will move to the UK for a couple of years and then we will do a DCF.
Do I need to contact the INS to withdraw the petition that I filed? Do I contact the service center? Will it have any bearing on my obtaining a visa to go to the UK?
Thanks...sorry for the confusion.

I would write to the service center and ask them to withdraw your application, that
way it would be withdrawn instead of abandoned. Not much of difference, but it would
be better that way INS would not waste any resources on your case.
