Window cleaner - tipping
Just another quick tipping question. Do you tip your window cleaner/s?
It says on here http://www.findalink.net/tippingetiquetteprint.php nothing, but do YOU?
They've been here for 4 hours, but charge a small fortune (services always appear to be much more here than at home).
What do you do?
Thanks

No-one had heard of window cleaners when I asked around here.
From what you've said it's probably OK not to tip.

When we had the windows washed, the same company power washed the house and roof. We didn't tip.

LOL, is it?! All I know is the windows were FILTHY
Our landlords were here for 2 years, and they told me the windows never needed doing, so didn't bother. At $270 I'm not surprised! Mind you, the window cleaner they recommended quoted $295!
I'm only having them done because my Mum arrives tomorrow. And you know what it's like - everything must be clean! Well, this anally retentive woman does (me, not Mum!)
Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't tip. Although they did do a great job. I went with my gut instinct and what the tipping etiquette link suggested.
PS. Trubrit. Good to 'see' you again! I posted for you a couple of weeks back but someone said you were off-line.

I'm not going to pay to see out. If I wanted to see out that badly I'd go outside!

Thank you. I'm absolutely shattered though! Didn't help that I had THREE UK calls during the night
My bloody fault for not turning my mobile off! Grr
Maybe I'll relax at BJs later?!

Oh yes, it's growing faster than my hair, which is growing like billy-o since moving here!
Although it's now much shorter after taking some expert advice!
Mum won't recognise me
