If memory serves me correctly briefly I think it's San Antonio. Clear something else up for me just as I'm a dumb ass but why is Tx bad?? Apart from narrow mindedness and churches on every corner..... it has it's good points I like to think! |

I did not say Texas was bad, I have been there by the way, stayed in a hotel for 6 week's in Whichatore Fall's, everything looked even less green than it dose here, I'm not going to start slagging the place, it's your life and we all see thing's different. If you can stay happy like you seem to be now, thats great for you and your's, best of luck to you :)
I don't like to think that people are unhappy with where they live, life's too short for that and like you say if you can stay happy then that's half the battle. |

Why, you've not been here that long, neither have I for that matter. Things just take a bit of getting used to. An open mind and a bottle of vodka often help! ;)
No I've not been here long but in that time I have lost my eldest daughter who has gone back to Uk as the school here could not give her classes other tha 4 until September, and hubby's boss is a complete beep hole. Our dog is stuck here till July but I fly the 18th of June as soon as my other girls have finished school for the summer. I cant wait! 10 weeks 2 days to go :) |

I'm still a newbie so still early days for me. Nine months in. I just wanted to do it so as I would not sit in the UK in twenty years from now and think why on earth did we not take a chance. I came here for my OH and I'm glad I did. Maybe in a couple years I'll feel as you do but I hope not, who knows what's round the corner though! Best of luck to you Britex and I hope you find happiness sooner rather than later! |
