*lol* We were practically neighbours. I'm at 67th & Union Hills.

Yeah, it is a nice long trip. I'm mostly going over to spend some time with my Mother, who's still adjusting to living alone after my Dad's death. Gives my two Brother's a break for a little while too, not that they mind. Not looking forward to being apart from the Wife that long though, especially as we thought she might be able to come over for two weeks while I was there, but couldn't get the time off work. Such is life...

This is from 2002, but absolutely bang up to date today:

article from The Onion

"WASHINGTON, DC—Seeking to address "the number-one threat to airline security," the Federal Aviation Administration announced Monday that it will consider banning passengers on all domestic and international commercial flights."

[anyone not familiar with The Onion should be aware that it's humorous and not for real, although some US right wing Christians have been known to quote it as a genuine news source, haha, idiots]

I'm going to start flying on Arab Airlines or look for some muslim owned travel company. That's probably the safest way to travel right now.

I don't know, but the inflight meal of 'camel dung sprinkled with sand' is supposed to be quite a delicacy.

I know someone in your neighbourhood, you must be loaded, ya lucky bugger!!!

Wish I could afford to live there, it's a really nice area, we rented an appt, but we got priced out when we were looking for a house, so had to move further out west, although I find where I live now is more family orientated.

I look forward to meeting you some day soon!

*lol* I wish. We're living in a rental at the moment. We're gonna be looking at getting our own place soon, and whether we can afford to live round this area is highly doubtful. As nice as it is here the house prices are ridiculous.

Looking forward to meeting you too. When I get back from the UK I'll see if I can make one of the Phoenix get togethers. As long as you allow big burly Welshmen!

Yes, the houses prices in that area are ricockulous (as my hubby would say! ), although at the moment, it really is a buyers market here, so good luck with finding a bargain!

We are pretty relaxed about who we allow at our meet ups, even Welsh people are welcome!!!

Enjoy your trip!
