I seem to remember it ended with a shooting in the face.

So the terrorist hides explosives in his shoes, so now we have all to take our shoes off.
So now the terrorists make liquid bombs and so creams and gels are out.
What next? Terrorists hide it in clothes, so we all gotta get naked? Or in their hair, and you have to shave your head before flying?
They need to draw the line somewhere.
And I say they draw it across the throats of these 21 terrorists and slit their damn necks.

If so I guess I'll have to wear my glasses, which is a nuisance, but I'd quite happily put up with it for the safety of myself and everyone else on the plane.

Sometimes you just wish these political extremists would just keep it all within their own circles. If they have issues with the actions of UK Parliament or the US government, then blow up the White House. Crash a plane into 10 Downing Street. But quit murdering, terrorizing and tormenting innocent people who for the most part, don't care about rich men's feuds about land and oil.
Everyday people just want to take their kids to the park, mow their lawn and enjoy a dinner with friends. They couldn't care less that Abu Nanza wants to keep Israel, or that Rich White Men want a better oil/territory deal. I wish they'd all **** off and let us all live in peace. George Carlin is right.

BTW, I noticed that you said you got here in Oct 2004, which is the same time as I got here. And, according to the frapper map, when you lived in Glendale you were only a few minutes from where I live. Now we're both leaving for the UK within a few days of each other. Are you stalking me or am I stalking you?

Yeah, it is a bit scary, isn't it?!? I used to live at 79th & Union Hills.
Oh what a lovely long trip, I'm jealous, I'll only be there for 2 weeks, hubby can't manage without us!
