Does anyone happen to know if this is the same for a 360? Will the console and games work in the US if bought in the UK?

Yes, but the same issues apply and games are regioned, so you'd need to check if a game has regioning on it if you buy locally.

It's also a major cnut keeping the subscription going if you change credit cards to one abroad and it's also a bigger hassle to cancel it, especially once a card has expired.

Also, power leads are specific to the generation of the 360, so you've got to be more careful about buying the right one.

Thanks Bob.... the hubby/kids 360 we have in the Uk is a few years old now, so probably about time for an upgrade anyway, so will most likely buy a new console once in the States. but will need to check the region of the games to see if worth shipping or selling.
