Will Never Feel Homesick again

Re: Will Never Feel Homesick again
In the US or UK?
Home is always home, but no place stays the same.
I left the area where I grew up, 30 odd years ago. It will however always be "home". The people here talk different, eat different foods, different lifestyle, different weather, different scenery and they even drive differently (:scared: ).

We left in 1964, we go back, (notice I said "back" and not home), almost every year. I find it nice to go back because it reminds us of why we left in the first place. And it's worse now than it was then. Seems like there is nothing but Asian's, West Indian's, and the poor people from the EU countries roaming the streets. And pissed up English louts spewing up and fighting on Friday nights.

So far this week, I've heard the UK is full of exploding phoneboxes, burning neighbours cars, pregnant mothers, poor immigrants, blacks, asians, vomiting pissheads and unemployed bricklayers. It's a miracle I can get out of my front door and walk down the street sometimes.

No kidding. I live in Texas - to hear people talk on this forum I can't get out of my front door for tripping over all of the guns.
The thing I hate about sweeping generalizations is that they are very easy to make and very hard to disprove.

Ahhh, but don't you know, the only smart American is the one that can not trip while re-loading their semi-automatic as they go running down the street spraying bullets all over.....or wait, maybe that's a new action film I can never tell the difference between what's on tele/cinema as opposed to real life.

Crime is much higher in areas with a large ethnic population and the huge increase in immigration has seen the crime rate rise dramatically. Gun crime is almost exclusively a "black" issue in many inner city areas. The police are pi$$ed off with stupid senseless softly softly Home Office directives which more or less tell the cops to "go easy" on "foreign criminals". No wonder police morale is so low. :scared:
