will magazines with freebies attached re-direct with Royal Mail?
I've searched through the archives but not found a specific answer so I was wondering if anyone has personal experience?
I am thinking of taking out some magazine subscriptions before leaving the UK for Houston but they often have things like Summer bags attached. Will they actually reach me through the Royal Mail re-direction?
Their website says:
International mail – any item bigger than Letter format over 25mm thickness and over 100g that clearly contains goods, cannot be redirected abroad
Any Letter format items or Large Letter format items obviously containing printed-paper up to 25mm thickness and 100g can be redirected abroad
thanks!

You'll be better off getting an international subscription, if those mags allow it. Royal Mail redirection did send me a couple of packages, surprisingly, but I don't know if they'd send magazines with things attached.

How about getting them delivered to a UK friend and having them post them once a month? Not sure how cost effective that will be, but if you're that committed - it might work!
PS: I'm in Houston too!
