Rubbish. Not even Telegraph readers would go that far (and I know a few of them; moreover, believe it or not, I do read this eminent paper every now and again)

I think you'll find that they are - the main parties merely pay lip service to fringe groups when it suits them to do so.
Sure in the UK we don't ride roughshod over the environment like they do here but then again that's only commonsense, isn't it.
