Default Why did it go to the CSC?

Little back-story.. filed I-130 packet in January.. sent the packet with the check to the Chicago Lockbox. Received notification a few days later with receipt number. It went to the California Service Center. (The one with the longest processing time. YAY!)

I live in Maryland... found a website that said this was Vermonts jurisdiction. So shouldn't it have gone to Vermont? If so, is there any chance of getting it routed there now?

You sent just an I-130? Not an Adjustment of Status packet?

I just checked, and both CSC and VSC give a 5-month processing time for the I-130....so I'm not sure why you think CSC is longer.

You can't change it anyway, it will stay where USCIS sent it, unless CSC sends it somewhere else on their own.
