Good for viewing prices but frankly I wouldn't schlep across town to save a few cents on the gallon. It'd be likely that there'd be mega queues (and some vehicles might even run out of gas before making it the pumps) or the gas would run out before one got to the pump.

From what I hear, the older style pumps can't handle prices above 2.999. Every station around me with the newer pumps were at 3.099 and above but all the older ones were at 2.999 so there maybe some truth to this.

I already know that Costco is the cheapest here. It was $2.69 yesterday, but I went by Safeway twice, first at 10:30 am and it was $2.93 and then 4 hours later it was $2.99! :scared: :scared: I went shopping in Safeway and they have a thing that if you spend $50 or more you get 6 cents off of your fuel. I told the girl I couldn't afford to buy fuel there, even with te 6 cents off.

Less than 3 bucks a gallon here. At last labor day refill, however, paid more than that.

thought there was something in this as all round us were 2.99 - but that was cheap stuff so the pumps were able to charge over 3 for premium etc!

On a happy note - went down 10c round us yesterday! - 2.89
