Yeah. Cammel Laird shipyard, they were bought out by VSEL (shipyard in Barrow) rumours started about Laird's shutting down so I got a transfer.
Bit of a one-horse town Barrow, but I liked the place and still keep in contact with people there.

Yeah, I used to work in Beckenham in the late eighties, and would go sometimes go into Bromley at lunchtimes. That High Street was way too long, and uphill too.
