Where to open an Euro deposit account in Boston?

A friend of mine is moving over to the US from Europe. She wants to bring all her
savings with her but she doesn't want to convert them to dollars yet because of the
high dollar exchange rate. She wants to open an Euro deposit account with a US bank
in the New England (Boston) area. I asked our local banks but no one had a foreign
currency deposit account service. One of the customer service ladies didn't even know
what an Euro was. Does anyone know where and how to open an Euro deposit account?
I apologize for being a bit off topic here. But this question does concern some new
comers from the other countries.
TIA
