Does anyone know what websites people from the U.K visit when looking for short-term room (not apartment) rentals in the USA?

Any info would be appreciated.

Corporate housing? Any realtor site.

If looking for a sublet, craigslist and if for an extended holiday, Airbnb above is a good option.

Those sites are great. Most of the people who rent with us are tourists from other countries besides the U.K and we were trying to find out how to attract Brits as this was mainly why we started advertising in the first place.

I have also looked at Couchsurfing (some pretty strange characters advertising there) and Roomorama which seems pretty much like Airbnb.

Doing a reverse search - there doesn't seem to be many properties advertised on either sites for UK rooms for rent so I guessed that Brits must mainly use their own brand British versions of Airbnb/Roomorama.

Fairly expensive, but good no hassle, to give me a bit of breathing space whilst looking for an apartment.

I read your post on your other thread, I am wondering where you currently advertise which apparently Brits are missing? Also what it is you offer, is it B&B style or what they call Efficiencies. And what is short term?

I live in Florida, but I did rent a room between moving out from my ex, and closing on new house. Spent a month (week to week) in a private "holiday hotel", which was basically a lounge/bedroom with a small kitchen & bathroom. Found it in Yellow pages. Don't think it was online.
