Re: Where Did You Marry Your US Spouse?
We were married in Scotland. Would have ticked the UK box, but it wasn't a church nor a register's office. We were married in a castle. Honeymooned in Scotland and it was dreamy.

Got hitched in Farmington, ME, used the banquet hall of one of our favourite restraunts to get married, that way, everyone could turn around and then party afterwards and not have to trudge through even more snow to get to reception
Had to best men, as back up, one in San Fran on an H1B, but needed backup as he was just coming back from a work related trip from gambia, and another mate from blighty who used the wedding as an excuse to abuse the exchange rate, and he only just made it to the gig intime, immigration kept him for 2 hours after a 2 hour queue at the airport, all because on the I-94, he got two numbers the wrong way around for the phone number....he missed his connecting flight...what a night

In the local courthouse here in Annapolis - honeymooned in Crested Butte, Colorado for a week at the end January, skiing all week and still managed to come home with an unexpected extra traveller, (who's now 2½ months old)!
Our first anniversary is this Sunday.
Great pics Deb, btw - that cave looks fantastic - love the wings on the gals too!

We got married at a wedding Cottage, Rockwall Texas. We got married in the evening, really cool as the lights were dimmed and we had candles lit everywhere, we had a limo home and everyone got drunk by the pool.
We were so piss poor at first, it was 2 years before we had our honeymoon, but we went to Aruba in the carribean, got so frigging sunburnt, but it was great place to go.

We got hitched in Vegas. Both of us wore black. We grabbed witnesses from the street and witnessed their wedding too. They were called Tiburcio Nino and Mirthala Serna. He couldn't speak or understand a word of English and wore a baseball cap. His wife wore a denim mini skirt and very elaborate airbrushed nylon nails. It couldn't have been any better

NC Penguin- I know I'm a slacker- I e-mailed you the other day though. I promise I will call you soon.
I got married on Edisto Beach, SC under a beach house. It was August, boiling hot and covered in mosquito bites that looked like huge bruises!

Re: Where Did You Marry Your US Spouse?
Hi,
We got married at City Hall, Niagara Falls, by the Mayor. We had arrived in Niagara the day before to obtain the licence. We had nothing planned and asked the clerk who could marry us. She said the mayor and directed us down the hall to his office. We knocked on his door and he said yes and told us to come back tomorrow at 1.30 and knock on the back door, as City Hall is closed on a Saturday.
When we arrived the next day we knocked on the back door and guess what we got no answer. It was comical. Here we were all dressed up and rattling the doors of City Hall. A woman came across from a church hall opposite to tell us it was closed! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh. Eventually we walked around the building to find out there was a side door with a bell.
On top of that our witnesses were coming down from Canada and were held up at the border for 2 hours and arrived 10 minutes after the wedding, just in time to take some pictures. The mayor had to phone his sister to come down to be our witness. He told us all about the politics of being mayor and about Niagara while we were waiting. He was a real cool guy.
Thankfully all turned out well in the end. We had our Wedding Breakfast at the Hard Rock Cafe and got some stunning wedding photo's in front of the falls. We had a hoot.
