Default where to be on 4th july

Hi everyone

My wife and I are traveling across the USA.

By July 4th we will be in the area of Yellowstone park.

But we are not fixed on that.

Let's say 1000 miles around (but not north) Yellowstone park

where is the best place to celebrate the 4th july ?

Thanks for your help and i wish you a nice day

regards
Jan

I don't have direct knowledge of specific events in that area, but I would encourage
you (and anyone who responds to your posting) to keep in mind the possible small-town
celebrations that might be occurring. Yes, the really big ones on the East Coast are
great (I went to the Pops concert in Boston once), but some small towns in the U.S.
have the most delightful parades with home-made floats, kids pulling wagons with dogs
in them, etc. etc. Calistoga in the Napa Valley does this, so it's very possible that
some town in the area you'll be visiting does, too. (I wonder whether Bozeman does?
Although it isn't that small any more...)
