Default When do your kids break up for Christmas?

Boo hoo.

I've just received the academic calendar from the High School and I've just noticed that school breaks up on Thursday 23rd December, with school resuming on 3rd January.

What a bummer

Looks like we will be spending Christmas in NJ this year then, I think it would be too chaotic to travel on the evening of 23rd and I wouldn't fancy travelling on Christmas Eve.

I wish the school holidays were more spread out as they are in British schools. My son broke up on 22nd June and they don't go back until 7th September...but break up for two days the following week for Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year).

At Eastertime all they get for time off is Good Friday!
