My place just moved over the weekend, checked out the new digs last Friday, huge, stupidly huge, part of it use to be an internet cafe, so we've now got a nice kitchen/dining area, and there getting in a "proper" coffee machine to replace the kack Mr Coffee maker they have now, and it'll have a hot water tank for us tea drinkers apparently.

The soda's and bottled water will still be free...and they'll still be doing pizza fridays apparently, just need to find a new pizza place, thank god, the last place sucked...but they did break it up with some random food every now and again.

There also getting a pool table, which is nice...oh, and no more stupid key code entry to the building, so that's nice...but, I think I'd have liked more underground parking than what's available...but oh well...new gaff should be fun, even though my office wont' have a window, and it'll be shared with one of the loons of the place...interesting.

I've definitely seen some places offering some cool things for people, and think sometimes we're getting the short end of the stick in comparison, but overall, don't think it's too bad.
Things are coming back to the office where my husband works ....they now have cream for coffee in the fridge........LOL!
When we first came here they had a gym...free coffee...BBQs most of the summer and pizza on Fridays...tons more stuff I can't remember..

Quite a few nice things at my office.
Coffee machine with caribu coffee. Tea, milk, sugar, spring water and all that jazz.
25c vending and coke machines. Candy and chocolate always around.
Birthday cakes on birthdays, plus a gift from the owners.
Flat screen TV's at various locations.
Full kitchen with cooker, dishwasher and that stuff.
Plus a lot of little things, but the biggest thing is that the people are nice and the bosses are great to work for. Can't put a price on that in my book.

well the new gaff...was going to share my office with two others, but the old fart got given his own office as he don't like sharing...so that was good, more space...

but turns out, shite office, one of a few without a window, but the views overlook the pike, another major road, a sub power station and a couple old office blocks....the pipes randomly shreak a really high pitch whine, it's thesprinkler system that's being worked on....and only office that doesn't have a dimmer light switch or secondary spot lights, and the overhead lights are insanely blinding...and the muppets that put the locks in put the card readers about 2 foot to high and out of range for pretty much everyone to shake a hip at it, so gotta pull the card out, but that's going to be adjusted....

oh well, the new place overall does rock, and should be good once all the kinks get sorted out...

sometimes on friday lunchtimes, we all get together in the bosses office for champagne/wine - as our boss (and the rest of us) enjoys a drink and the company, and to celebrate the oncoming weekend - though its hard to get back to work after a couple of drinks at times

I have a seat, a telephone and what passes for a plank of wood standing on two drawer units for me to put my laptop on. Thankfully I work from home a lot - get free coffee there - and ham sandwiches with ...mmmm HP sauce!

Perks - hahahahaha!
