what's next after reopen the case ?

Hi, I got a happy message that my denied i-130 petiton was reopened after motion to reopen. Following message came from the uscis webpage.

<On February 9, 2005, this case was reopened on a BCIS motion, and the case is now in process. It is taking between 30 and 60 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.>

Then, I checked the current status with my old case #, and i got this message,

<On February 9, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.>

What is the next step? Is there anyone who know what the additional evedence they usually request? If I mail the evidence, what's the next step?
I am a K-3 visa holder, who don't apply for adjustment of status yet. I am willing to get IR-1 in my country if I-130 petition is approved. Is it possible to go through this way? Or should i need to apply for adjustment of status in the U.S.? I am now in north carolina, and process date from uscis webpage shows that it takes more than a year to get approval for I-485.

Thanks in advance,
skidesu
