Re: What is your state best at?

Re: What is your state best at?
What about the reverse view?
I note NY is best at transit use and worst at daily commute. Huh? http://pleated-jeans.com/wp-content/...s-of-Shame.png |
Re: What is your state best at?
Wow, I gotta say that I am surprised KY is the 'best armed'. I figured that honor would go to TX. I would have thought we'd be 'most coal mining' or 'fastest horses' or 'best bourbon'.

We have the most hunters! But are arsonists.

Re: What is your state best at?
So Missouri... Being the worst at bankruptcy is good... right? I mean bankruptcy isn't something you want to be "good" at, is it?

Re: What is your state best at?
I saw the first map on Graph Jam this morning. So it seems in these parts, you are more likely to die from a Tornado than a Heart Attack

Re: What is your state best at?
So IA is the "Oldest State", by that I'm assuming they mean the average age. Is this really a bad thing?

Re: What is your state best at?
Here's what Iowa has to shout about (according to Heywood Banks)

Oh dear, I lived in a mobile home in South Carolina when I first came over.
Now I have a biker husband in Virginia, a motorcycle death trap! |

I like Utah: proves that watching porn makes you feel better!
|
Re: What is your state best at?
Utah? Porn? You mean those nice chaps in black trousers and white shirts on bikes that come to the door and claim to want to talk about Jesus really have a bunch of porn mags in their backpacks? All they've ever given me is a brochure on how to save my heathen soul!! Well I never...I'll have to invite them in for coffee next time:D

Re: What is your state best at?
Well - I'm in Ohio - so I guess I'm among a well-read bunch of people, since we have the highest library use in the nation!! I actually saw that on the news this morning. Of course, it could be due to the economy - high unemployment, so no-one can afford to buy any books!!! Actually, we have excellent libraries here and the service is wonderful. I love to read, so I guess I'm living in a good state for that!

Think yourself lucky - at least they're both quick ways to go - could be worse - you could live in North Dakota where you would probably have a job, which is a good thing because your social life would suck because you'd be pig ugly:D
