Example. I was at the airport and I was late to the gate (misread the departure time) the plane had not departed but they wouldn't let me board. I was frustrated but I said to myself
he is English and he not going to change his mind so why bother. This was in England.

Had the same thing happen in California. No problem they let me board. I might ad this airline is very eager to win new customers. Big difference in attitude.
