What happens after getting 221(g) admin. processing letter
 

Dear members:

This website is full of horror stories related to getting the 221(g) letter and thereafter getting the 221(g) admin. processing letter from the Bombay and Chennai consulate. But, there is no information of what happened thereafter--were they ultimately given the visa, after what period of time did the consulate contact the beneficiary as promised in the 221(g) letter, were there more interviews after getting the admin. proc. letter? etc. etc.

Now, I'm sure there is some sort of action taken by the consulate after giving the beneficiary the 221(g) admin. proc. letter.

Please share with us if you know what happens after getting hte 221(g) admin. processing letter. My wife is now waiting in India with this letter and doesn't know what happens next or when it happens. Thank you
