Have you ever watched Seinfeld? In one episode he dates a girl that looks great but only in a certain light, otherwise she is ugly. I think he calls her two-face. This Governor reminds me of her....

She really wasn't expected to survive until she signed the infamous 1070.

The previous governor, Napolitano was appointed head of DHS midterm, and as we have no lieutenant governor in AZ, the secretary of state rolls into the position instead.

The frightening thing is not that she's so bad.....but that plenty of people will vote for her in the election solely because of 1070.

She might be bad but at least she hasn't rolled over in the face of Washington ! and 1070 does seem to be agreeable to other States and an increasing number of the general public.

BTW, did you miss the ad populum one during your studies? When I lived in Slovakia, one of the most popular politicians used to yell, "Let's roll on Budapest!" while standing atop a T-72. He had plenty of supporters, too.

The annoying thing is sitting here in this state knowing I can't vote.

What's really scary is if you look at how many bullshit laws Napolitano vetoed while she was in power that have suddenly been retabled since she was promoted and that includes 1070.

Which ever State she governs she would probably make a hash of it,most seem to be able to do it which ever State they belong to.
As for your experiences within a Communist country, how utterly fascinating,were you there as a spy or something, seeing as you know about troop movements and politicians?

I thought there was nobody worse than Sarah Palin...I was wrong, but as Fatbrit said, they'll still vote her in because of SB 1070. It's got to a point where a candidate can win an election on just one issue. Sad, really sad.
