Top tip I have just stolen from "Lottie's" post earlier. Take a ream or two of A4 paper for any UK official docs that need printing.

Not in my experience (which includes many places outside my local area). Wherever I have found both stores (US and Canada), Target has been a bit more expensive and I've seen more "poor people" as you put it (at least what looks like low income people to me) in Walmart than in Target. Nothing wrong with being low income and looking for value within your budget. I can shop in either when needs be. Both are handy when you have kids who are college students.

I shop at Walmart because I can't afford to shop at Target, I guess that must make me one of the poorest of the poor.

Looks like Walmart is one step down from Target then. I have been in Walmart about 3 times, and upon each time made a quick get away. It's nearly as bad as Market Basket.

At the deli counter at Walmart yesterday, I stood next to a lady dressed in a lavender colored fairy outfit ......... tutu, tiara and wand ... the whole kit and caboodle

I don't pretend to be rich by any means but the fact that I can afford a vacation or school trips for my kids or dinner out once a week is because I save money where ever I can. If this means doing ad match at Walmart or buying something there that would cost me more at Target store then so be it.

BTW I love the cheddar pasta salad off the deli at walmart.
