The Trader Joe's ones aren't as good as Warburtons

Dunno either, I only saw them there yesterday. More research is needed :-)
Lizzyq made some from scratch that were pretty damned good too.

Oxo cubes are a definite no, you're lucky that you didn't get caught with them and I'd suggest not trying that again especially if you want to get Global Entry in the future.
Everything else was probably fine though. I always bring back loads of stuff including plenty of Paxo
Costco had Warburtons crumpets for a while, they seem to have stopped stocking them for the moment though.

Bisto in the red tub is okay, it even says it's suitable for vegetarians so there's definitely no actual meat in it.

Is there anything similar to Bernard Matthew mini turkey Kiev’s in the USA?

Oh, and Bisto Best contains real beef extract, so going on what people have said above, you won't be able to take that with you.

I brought some Walkers Marmite flavor crisps back with me on my last trip. Looking for them on Amazon now ...
https://www.amazon.com/walkers-co-uk-Walkers-Crisps-Marmite-6x25g/dp/B00MUM9U8E - $5+ for a 6-pack ... maybe I'll wait till someone comes to visit me ...
Also some cookies from Morrisons - best cookies I've ever tasted that weren't home made ...

Say goodbye to good chocolate!! US chocolate is nasty!! Stock up on Cadbury before you leave :-)
I wish I brought my old Mini - since they don’t have them over here they sell for a premium.

Wow surprised at some of the replies, sure there's a few odd thing you can't get here...like real kinder eggs! but the US is so cheap compared to other western countries , no VAT! just low state sales taxes in the 6% range , you can buy almost anything you need .
We have walmart , target etc cheap general stuff, harbor freight for cheap tools and building supplies cheap at home depot. (unless your going to live in a city center!) Petrol is cheep!
its the life style that's different. NO friendly Pub, just noisy or skuzzy bars for the most part Drive everywhere to do anything, walking not practical unless in city center.
People can be very friendly especially if you have a UK accent but also shallow friendships. You will know nobody that you grew up with so no 'friends forever' from school or college.
Schools are totally confusing if your not involved, they do everything different.
dont get me wrong, the US is an easy place to live if you are not a dead beat but its not the UK.
The hardest thing is just because its different don't think it wrong and offend people by saying so and coming out like a smart ass foreigner.....
cheers warren

Personally I miss Marmite, Branston Pickle, HP sauce, pork pies and Decent scotch eggs, like smoky joes from Tebay services, other 'farm' style produce from uk,
However. when the relatives come.... the pickles and sauces in jars can be brought if it does not contain meat.
you can get such items in certain shops in 'the world food isle' but expect to pay more, around $6-10 a bottle / jar.
Last time i was in UK i loaded up on 2 GBP jars of branston :-)

The EU tried to have cheap British chocolate reclassified as "flavoured vegetable fat", and much as it pains me to agree with anything that the European Onion proposes, on that specific point, I think they were correct.
