Default What do we do with Greencard situation

Hello,

I filed for a green card through DCF in 2002. We moved to the USA in 2003 but it was not easy getting a job. I found a job in Denmark and we moved to Denmark in 2003.
His green card had conditions since we were only married then for less than 3 years. Now we tried to take off the conditions but that could not happen since we are living in Denmark.
We have now decided to move back to the states and work for a family owned business. We plan to move next summer. What do we do about his greencard? Do we have to file another DCF? Who at the embassy do we talk to about this situation?

thanks for any help
Viking wife.
By the way we have a 5 year old and a 4 year old.

.
It pretty much appears you have abandoned the old green card
so will have to start again ..Ensuring of course that US cit has
been filing for US taxes these years out of the US ..

It's more than likely that the Green Card holder will be denied entry to the US since immigration records will indicate that you have been out of the country for a long time.

I would search for similar threads in the Marriage Based Visas forum. Also, check whether the US Embassy in Denmark accepts DCF because this would be the faster route to get a GC, if necessary.

In the meantime, I'm closing this thread because it's visa related. Please feel free to repost in one of the US visa related forums.
