Yeh me too, just the thought of that chicken served with some nice rice, corn and some chips is killing me right now.

What's your preferred flavour? I'm sort of a medium man - lemon and herb doesnt really do it for me.

I like them all but the hot, even if I grew up eating peri peri chicken (it is how all Portuguese people in Africa cook it).

I had the Hollywood image stuck in my head. Thought the country would be much more advanced than what it is.

Wish I'd watched Deliverance before moving.

that is one of the biggest shocks to me, how far behind this country is. friends that have come out here to visit and stay with us away from the hotels and tourist areas comment on it.

Before you ever moved or visited, what images popped into your head when you thought about life over here?
I first visited in 1973, and was in New York City for a couple of weeks. My image of America was film noir-ish; New York cabs, steam miraculously venting from the potholed streets, and automats. What I saw was exactly what I imagined - miraculous!
