Default what additional immunisations required for CA?

Were moving to California next month and i just wanted to check/confirm what additional child immunisations are required other than the standard UK ones for entry into Californian schools. My kids are fully immunised in the UK but i believe there are one or two additional that state law requires? Can anyone advise?

Your best bet it to contact the school district you'll be heading to.
It also depends on the age of the children.
Most high schools require Hep B shots.

I think the main one that isn't on the NHS standard list is Hep B, which is more common in the US than the UK. The shot is a multi-shot vaccine, which means you take one, then a second about a month later, and then a third after six months (or something like that). You can get it started in the UK and finish up over here.

Here is the full list:

Hello
I just went through this with my girls. They have had Hep B shots 1 & 2 (3rd one will be in USA) and also 2 shots of Varicella (chicken pox) as neither of them have had chicken pox. This website is pretty good:

We just moved to California from the UK in November. My 5 year old son needed Hep B, varicella and a TB test before we could enrol him in school. The TB test has to be done in CA - they won't accept tests from the UK.

Good advice. OP in case you are wondering California is / just was in the midst of a major whooping cough outbreak (pertussis) which killed 10 last year.
