I can not tell you how angry this makes me. I watched that (along with UK protest reporting) while I was a prisoner at the car place yesterday. Poor DH had to listen to me rant and rave this am during our drive to work. Then I got to rant and rave to my neighbor when she picked me up this am from car place.

I don't get this at all. OK, these freaks are completely mad, but why can't people doubt their faith? Even Jesus did on occasion.

My stepson was killed in action in Iraq this June. The Westboro Baptist church put out notices on their website saying they were going to picket at the funeral - we had the Patriot Guard and hundreds if not thousands of local people along the streets - they didn't show up. It adds stress to a very difficult time for families. Their website notice ended with "Thank God for IEDs" (it was an IED that killed our son.) Very nasty people. :thumbdown:

I know, I read that yesterday and thought what a bunch of horrible people. Not just for her funeral, but all the hatred they spread. Wow :(

WBC use these protests as a source of income. The majority of the adult members of the Phelps family are attorneys, and they aim to provoke assaults and other actions that can be litigated for damages. It is money making, pure and simple, IMHO.
