A diner at a Wendy's fast food restaurant in San Jose, California, found a human finger in a bowl of chili prepared by the chain, local officials said Wednesday.

"This individual apparently did take a spoonful, did have a finger in their mouth and then, you know, spit it out and recognized it," said Ben Gale, director of the department of environmental health for Santa Clara County. "Then they had some kind of emotional reaction and vomited."

Apparently ... not quite true ... the woman who claimed a finger was in Wendy's chili has now been arrested!
I guess we are used to people trying to make a fast buck ... the only question I have is where did she get the finger from?

Isn't this story about 2 months old now and completly made up to make some wonga!
There are far more interesting stories, like the nine year old boy in NC who shot his Mum then wrote a suicide note and then shot himself in the head.
Or the fact Zacarias Moussaoui has pleaded guilty
or Paula Abdul is using drugs or a thousand other stories more interesting than a lying woman trying to make some money out of Wendies.

I would agree that this type of story isn’t usually that interesting … but what makes this particular case interesting is the fact that she had a human finger to plant in her bowl of chili. Either the finger wasn’t really a finger … or I would be interested to know where she got it from.
All in all … IMO, the human finger story is more interesting than reports of Paula Abdul being on drugs.
