weekend away
 

Been in Houston 5 months now, and ready to get out somewhere! We used to travel a lot (monthly at least) but since we've been here we've been kind of busy - new job, new house, new car, christmas, Oh yes, new baby as well. And now its time to get away somewhere! Does anyone have any ideas on decent places to visit within close driving distance - say 2-3 hours? (Already been to San Antonio...) Looking for a nice place to stay (hotel or self catering) with a bit of coast or countryside and plenty of fresh air. And preferably no shopping centres!!!

Any ideas?
