I buy my bread from Gulghupf in Durham, NC. You can order by mail too.

It's not British bread but it's much more like European style bread than anything I've bought from a grocery store.

Will that be with a ton of preservatives, or a ton of mold?

I have been buying bread regularly (and other stuff) from www.foodireland.com The brand is Brennans and its really good. Their shipping costs are good considering, and I always end up with a refund after I paid (they only charge you what it actually costs them to ship, and once they have the exact amount, they refund what you paid over..)

You can make your own, it's a piece of pxss... Buy one of the new bread machines, You litereally lob in the flower, water, butter (or oil) and yeast and press a button. come back in 1-3 hours. This automaticall can make stuff that's 1000 x times better than the shite here. Not quite as good as back home but a thick slice of toast of nice white bread and marmite or marmelade... YUMMY...

Or make it completely by hand. Borrow a book from the library and try out a few recipes.

I have the Breadmaker's Bible.... my friends actually come for dinner purely for the cheese & potato bread....which also tastes fab at Brekky with vegemite!

Whenever I make bread, I do 3 loaves at a time - doesnt take any longer than a single loaf.

And what plank of wood invented sour-dough - the worse "bread" (if it's fair to call it bread) on the planet - IMHO
