Weather Channel are in Pensacola! should I be worried?

There isnt even a named storm yet and the Weather Channel are here reporting live from the beach already. I am not sure if it is hype or we should bring in the gazebo?!

Most of the models have it aiming for New Orleans (again) but one has it coming ashore in Pensacola. 93L it's called.

Glad to see someone else using wunderground.com, I love it! Have done since they started the service whereby you can telnet to rainmaker.wunderground.com and get a forecast (no graphics), which is a lot faster and simpler than using the webpage.

I was a little pissed at the bubble-headed bleached blonde who was chirping out the midday weather.... she was happy that the storm was headed for Louisiana "and not Texas." Erm hello but we could handle it better, and I doubt God was taking her wishes into consideration.

I live on the water so I have to watch very very closely. What most people treat as just a storm can often result in my seawall being flooded and my yard being pulled out to sea.

The computer models are good, but you'll notice they vary greatly. The NHC's projection is usually sort of an average between the models. Should the models all come out as a straight line (and you be under the line) well then, yikes.
