Hi everyone
My wife and I want to spend our Honeymoon traveling across the USA. We are planning to buy a station wagon and to take along our tent, so that we can choose if we sleep in the car or in the tent.
Now I have heared, that there are some camping grounds which do allowed people to sleep in a station car.
Is that true ?
Thanks for your help and I wish you a nice day
Regards

At government run campgrounds in national parks, I believe there is no problem. For
private ones such as the big KOA chain (www.koa.com), you might check their web site
and/or contact them directly.

Obviously I can't speak for all campgrounds, but I've done it in a station wagon.
My wife loves to camp -- preferably in a Hilton or a Sheraton. So ourcompromise
is that we camp in the station wagon, but eat all meals out.

Not in any place that I have ever camped. They may be refering to sleeping in rest
areas off the freeway. There it may not be legal but I don't think it is enforced
unless staying more than overnight.

This would also be putting yourself in great personal danger. From what I've read,
NEVER sleep overnight in a highway rest area.
