Empty house (for the last two weeks) check

Two approved dog crates being accepted check
Vet 'fit to fly certificates' obtained check
Two dogs booked on same flight check
Confident that my dogs will be ok (will have to wait until we arrive)
Visa interview at American Embassy Check
Passports returned with visa check
House sold and finally exchanged check
Temp place to stay with two dogs (finally) check

Yet still no one knows what you are meant to do with the X-ray.

Do they still require it ? I came in 83, I'm not sure what happened to it.

Mines in the garage with oil drips all over it, maybe we could start a Blue Peter, 101 ways with a chest x ray, sticky back plastic, a toilet roll and a yogurt pot thread!;)

Good luck with everything, Im sure the dogs will be fine, my two seemed unphased by it all.
Send me a message when you are settled and we will definitely meet up for a dog walk and I can show you some of the cool dog parks/dog walks we have discovered.

Shove it in the back of the closet, eventually it'll be lost in a move.

Good luck with the move and have a safe flight. And if it makes you feel any better, my realisation that it was actually happening, didn't happen until we were sitting on the runway at Glasgow and asking myself "are we really doing this?" It will be fine :)

Mine ended up at my daughter's elementary school - they were glad to get anything starting with X!

Good luck with the move BadgerNaboo - the Bay Area's a great place to be (if you can forget about how bankrupt the State is and that there may be an earthquake anytime ;) )

It will and your dogs will be fine by the way. We brought ours over on a separate flight from ours and he was fine so stop worrying and enjoy the move. Have you got a rental sorted out yet as we had real problems trying to rent with the dog and eventually only really had the one option left which is the house we're in at the minute. Good luck anyway and like I said, stop worrying!! :D

Weirdly, my realisation kicked in when I was walking my dog around the streets of Houston the day we arrived. Obviously when you go on holiday to the States, you don't take your animals with you so the fact I had her suddenly made me realize I was here to live! Weird huh?!

Good luck with your move. I loooooooooooove San Francisco - one of my favourite places out of those I've managed to visit.
