Default We have arrived in Texas

Well yesterday we arrived in Texas and at last I am allowed to tell eveyone why my colleague & I are here.
Its such a relief to be able to say we have brought SLIMMING WORLD to the USA....(have had to keep low profile during visa application cause of the competition).

I am based slightly N West of Dallas/Ft Worth airport and my collegue is East about 20 miles away. We have been over several times and have our venues secured for a late August start.

We are on L1 visas.
Have rented a house and got a school appointment for 17yr old (who missed 1 year since leaving Florida) for next Wednesday.

Off we go again....

I don't know, but there's been a whole stack of ladies specific and gym/fitness places closing down in my area...partly because people don't care and now they just don't have the spare cash to splash out on the indulgence.

Hi, the UK is in recession but Slimming World are 17% up on last year. A group opened last week (after the kids broke up for school hols) asnd had 61 new members on the 1st night. In Southern Ireland in the week after Easter a new group was opened with 174 new members. People want a sensible eating plan that the whole family can follow. It is more about changing eating habits not restricting foods or depriving yourself. We are the U|K's leading weight loss organisation ( yes number 1) Weight watchers is number 2 in the UK. I believe we will be very successful as it is not a gimmick and people can shop in their regular stores not having to buy dehydrated meals or shakes or tiny frozen portions. have a look at the website....

Why come to Texas?

Everyone knows there are no fat/overweight/obese/enormous lard arse/roly-poly people in the lone star state
