We did it!!!!!! Unfortunately we decided to do it without much planning it was just me , my other half and the little one in front of a judge. Nether the less it is a wonderful feeling being married to the man i love so very much. I just hope that the ins accept it as there wasnt any of our friends there with us due to work committments. Is it likely to be a problem? The court officials did take some photos for us though

congrats!!.....shouldn't have any problems.....many get married that way...we went
to the county clerk's office and it was just us and my kids. Have only a few pics

As for the INS accepting your marriage, you DID get the lisense signed by the court official didn't you? Well then, that's all you need. I had my AOS today at Dallas and the agent there was happy with my photocopy of the certified copy (if you see what I mean), of the original signed license, which we lodged with our Clerks office on Monday.

She wanted me to show that I had the certified copy with me and was happy with that - as for looking deply at it, well she didn't. I guess as it was in the envelope that came from the clerks office (had their address pre-printed in BIG letters on it), once she saw that it was the real thing, that was enough? Whatever the reason, it passed muster. As for photos, she didn't bother with them, even though we had them!
