Watch live UK TV - get it while it lasts

OK, so these never last that long. However, its free, no registration required, and works really well.

WARNING: there are some porn channels on there...

Hit "download", run the program, and enjoy. Do not hit any of the other links as some require you to pay. Most are free, but the player itself appears the best.

Thanks so much for posting this link!
I've just been talking on Skype with my husband (he's based in Singapore) and I'd sent the link to him...he's been watching the FA Cup live.

I'm hoping to watch 'Britain's Got Talent' later today and see if Susan Boyle manages to win the final (they show the results on the same evening).

:thumbsup:OK...I'm sitting in my back garden watcing the finals of 'Britain's Got Talent'.

Brilliant stuff....seen just the first two acts so far, a fabulous black dance group from North London called 'Flawless' and the 12 year old Welsh boy called Shaheen, who sang beautifully.

This is entertainment at its finest....and deserves to be shown to an American audience.

A big ((((hug)))) to the O/P for posting this link and I'm passing it on to my expat friends here in the US, Singapore and Australia ...

PS: I love watching all the adverts too....I enjoyed the one with Twiggy for Marks & Spencers.

(Feeling homesick right now LOL!)

It was surreal seeing English ads again. On the subject of BGT though.
Sometimes, I think i'm the only person who can't stand that show. In particular the judges, who's pre talent show claims to fame, were getting Robson & Jerome in the charts, getting sacked from The Mirror, and shagging someone who wasn't their husband.

One of the best shows I've ever seen from the UK was the episode in "Extras" (the Ricky Gervais series about actors who are 'Extras' with famous guest stars each episode) was the one with Les Dennis (Amanda Holden's much older ex-husband) who was sending himself up about the ending of his marriage. Brilliantly funny - yet sad in parts - stuff.

Going a bit off-topic, but I was on a Singapore Airlines flight a few weeks ago and was watching the IFE. They had the episode of 'Extras' which had Kate Winslet in it, playing the part of a nun. I'd seen it on HBO about a year or so ago. The odd thing was that in this episode she was talking about the fact that if you want to get an Oscar, the only surefire way to do so was to be in a film about the Holocaust (reeling off examples eg. Schindler's List) which was why she had no chance of winning one as she hadn't been in one of those kind of films.

Just before watching that episode of 'Extras', I'd just watched the movie of "The Reader" where Kate Winslet plays the part of a seductress of a 15 year old and it turns out that she later is on trial for being a guard in a concentration camp. She won the Oscar earlier this year for Best Actress for that part! (She got her kit off yet again, and I was surprised that the airline didn't censor any of it, especially as Singapore has very strict laws and it would never be shown without being cut in the cinemas there).

We were watching the EastEnders omnibus yesterday but had to go out for a few hours (Cherry Blossom Festival in town) so we 'paused' it, anxious to see if it would hold 'til we got back.

Did it? Did it $hite! :sneaky:

Oh well, still a decent resource and perhaps the prod I need to get Slingbox set up over home what with its DVR capability.

I've been watching GMTV late in the evening our time. Entertaining watching what features at high news items! (nothing ever changes, eh)
