When I have tried to use it again today, they say that BBC1 ITV Channel 4 are not working due to them negotiating with the channels. Have they been told of by the BBC?

Really annoyed as there was a programe I wanted to watch! Ggggrrrr BBC
If anyone knows of any other sites. Please pm me.

I've been toying with the idea of trying MyPrivateNetwork.com or THETELLYNET, but I'd have liked to have read some referalls first, particularly as the latter is hugely expensive! Anybody know anything about these site's?

my private network (I think its https://www.my-private-network.co.uk/) looks interesting.

If they allow multiple IP addresses to connect, I'd be willing to give it a punt with someone to take the cost down

I use the private network site. I think it is great. I have had a few problems watching it over the weekends, it has been slow (only on BBC) so I just wait until Monday.

Apart from that I think its super.

This is working for me today. No proxy, no VPN or anything like that. Follow the links in the first post. You'll need VLC (which you should download and have anyway because it is a good program).

I've been using them without significant problems for about five months now. Not as fast as say a direct connection from the UK but good enough for downloads from the iPlayer and watching streams without (that much) lag.

As the original poster says, get it while it lasts. The interview with the Filmon CEO back in June (link posted earlier) says that the service is in beta at the moment, and will be GBP 3.95 without the porn and 5.95 with it. He said that would happen "in a couple of weeks".

The only problem for me is that all the really good stuff is on at 9 or 10 pm GMT, when I'm still (theoretically) working here in Louisiana. Fortunately, I'm my own boss...
