Washington DC USCIS Wait
Hi :)
I have recently married an American guy after coming over here for a holiday (we met in the UK) I came into the US on a VWP I-95a. We had no idea the process to let me stay would be so complicated. I nearly died when I saw how many forms needed to be completed! To cut a long story short we have filled out the forms , sent them a potted biography and more financial information than we ever thought any government would be interested in.... Does anyone have any idea how long it is likely to take in the Washington DC area? Thanks people :) |

You'd be best asking down here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=35.
They're a couple of lurking neocons down there and the moral majority may well jump on you if you utter one word of criticism of the process and their beloved USCIS, but their advice is generally good. |

Re: Washington DC USCIS Wait
They all go through the Chicago lock box, it all depends on what you are waiting for:
AP 3 months EAD 2 months AOS will depend on local office, do not know DC timeline but 6 months to two years. You can also look on www.visajourney.com. |
