The FX45 looks ok, but there is something that puts me off looking at it, the other half has a Nissan Murano. Not too keen on either the Discovery or the Range Rover either........... and whilst I don't need huge off road capability, I do need it. Just out of interest what do you drive now? I think I am similar to BrewMonkey in that I have no real idea what I want and am very picky about what I do want. Tempted to go with Ray's suggestion of another F-150 or just keep this one and run it into the ground. Went back to a sedan, Jaguar X-type.... Still it has permanent 4 wheel drive (not so useful in TX, but the roads can be slick when wet). The wife has a Mazda Tribute, which seems very reliable and well put together, and the V6 engine is good. |

Absolutely true, depreciation is NOT COOL on the truck. But if its for business use you can depreciate $25k of its value in the first year. This is what mitigated the depreciation for me You know, I originally looked at silverados and titans but the avalanche has more usable load space - 8 x 4 bed when back seats are down, and when I don;t need to haul stuff it seats five pretty nicely |
