Visitor Visa Urgent Request
Can I get a Visitor visa for 10 days from India to US ?
I already have an H1b stamped(Computer programmer)till sept 2003 but was laid off in Oct 2001.My employer has not informed the INS of cancellation of the Visa.I am willing to let my h1b go for the visitor visa..Also,I left US for India with in 15 days of my being laid off and am working in India now.
EXPERTS ,Please REPLY!!!!!

You probably can get a visitor's visa with no problem because you established a track
record of complying with immigration laws.
