Default Visiting USA while K1 is in the works.

My Fiance and I have already submitted the I129F petition and received our first NOA. He does not have a tourist visa or anything to enter the United States. He has a week of vacation coming to him in December and wants to be able to come to America to meet my parents and discuss our future/wedding planning.

Can anyone please help me to find a way to make this happen? Is there any way that he could get a tourist visa just for one visit for these purposes?

Any attorneys that have any advice please let me know what options we have or if anyone else has information please respond.

Thank You,

Judi

My fiance is planning a trip to the US in November to meet my family, spend the thanksgiving holiday and go over wedding plans. We understand that because our paperwork has been filed, he could have some problems getting in the country as they may assume he wont leave.

He will be bringing his apartment lease, note from employer and airline tickets from a trip he is taking to Australia in December which shows he is flying out of Paris. From what we have read, he should be prepared with proof that he does plan on returning to his home country.

We are just keeping our fingers crossed, and aren't really worried that he will run into any troubles. We definately would not do anything to mess up our chances this far in the process!

Not sure about the tourist visa. My fiance will be coming for less than 90 days, so he will just get in with a stamp in his passport at the POE.

Best wishes to you!
