Default Visa's galore

Well with all that visa fun that I missed out on during the day, make me wonder though...what visa did all you lot get to come over here? Switch around many visa's?

Me, came over on a K1, before that, had a B1/2...

Yep. That's not counting the two EADs either. For a while I was getting concerned that there might be a lifetime visa limit.

And everything else crossed I should imagine.

Is this turning into another one of those funny threads?

good luck with that then...though wouldn't be holding out to much luck...though one of my mates did win it, his folks applied every year from when he was born, they finally won it when he was 12....his sister is still living out here, but the rest of the family all left, folks retired to a golf course in Spain, and he got a job in south africa...though they did leave the states to work in Bahrain for a few years.

First time, only time!

And we only did it for a joke! Nearly missed the deadline sitting on the "You've been drawn" letter as we really weren't coming till the last minute.

The brown-paper-packet common variety c/o the American Embassy in London, God Bless their cotton socks. The staff seemed to be Londoners. We had a glorious time getting the brown packet ... they told me to hang onto my chest X-ray and boy did I go to a lot of trouble not to pack it and not to bend it ... and handed it to the INS guy at JFK, who laughed and told me to hand it to a doctor when I got a doctor.

So with all your visas and changes and stuff, in keeping with your 18000+/70 posts per day on BE. Pretty soon you are going to break the 20000 barrier and after that who knows, you might make it "THROUGH THE THRESHOLD" ... said in the style of the movie THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK. Sorry, I just saw it on DVD ... sorry, so sorry, mea culpa
