Visa validation in Canada
hi,
Me and my wife have vaild L1B/L2 visa stamps on our passports which will expire in 2months time but we have also just received our new I-797. The problem now is we need to travel out of the U.S soon and i don't want to take the risk of sending our docs to Washington for validation. We may not get my passports back in time.
I know one other way is to make an appointment in Canada for visa validation. My quick question is, assuming i have made my appt, will the authority re-validate our visa stamps and return our passports on the SAME DAY of application?
thanks in advance.

In the past, I heard that the fastest possible processing in Vancouver,
Montreal and Halifax was same-day pickup, and in Toronto and Calgary, it was
next day pickup. However, things could have changed.
