VISA NUMBER on K3 visa?
 

Where is the visa number located on the K3 visa? Nowhere on the visa does it actually say "VISA NUMBER". There is a "control number" at the top and there is another number in red towards the bottom.

Be sure that the A# is written in when the K-3 Recipient goes through the POE, if it is not already there. It should match the A# on the NOA

My wife has already went to POE last year. There was no A# on her visa or on her I-94.

So when or if she decides to AOS here in the States she won't have one to put on the I-485. Thought all K visa holders were assigned an Alien Registration Number at the POE.

There is not an A# on the I-94 card... but there is an A# on the Approval Notice for I-129F. There is also an A# on her work authorization card (the two A#'s are completely different). So I'm still unclear on which A# to use on the I-485 app. I believe someone recommended using the A# on the I-129F approval notice. Not sure why though.

Probably because that was the very first Alien Registration number given to her and should have been hand written above, on or under the I-94 at the time of entry. By using the I-129F A#, one might hope that the approved I-130 will be easier to match up with the pending I-485.

Went through POE yesterday and they didn't put an A# on our I94's either. Is this a
bad thing?
