Default Vets in Katy

Hi,
We just moved to Cinco Ranch in Katy from England.
We've been here two weeks and this weekend we return to the UK to pick up our dog.
I am hearing dreadful stories about veterinary bills, overcharging, and excessive procedures over here.
Does anyone have any vet recommendations ideally in Cinco Ranch but happy to consider anywhere in Katy?
Thank you

Hi there...welcome to Katy!
We've been going to Cinco ranch vets on cinco ranch blvd just east of 99 for the last 4 years. They've always been straightforward with us, although to be fair, we haven't had any problems - just seen them for checkups and heartworm meds. They also have a boarding section that we use quite a bit.....in fact the pooch is there now cos we're up in Bandera on a dude ranch this weekend. She loves going there. One time we had to use all pets animal hospital for boarding as cinco were full, and they robbed us blind.....plus dog was in a right state when we collected her. Would never go back there.

I know neighbors who use the one on S Fry near where the new Wholefoods is going in, and they like them. Another neighbor uses and likes the one on westheimer just east of 99....one of those is called grand late vet, but can't remember whrich!

We travel out to Eldridge Parkway to Tanner Lakes. They are fabulous and understand about European dogs and the whole pet passport thing.
Boarding wise, Wagging Tails, Fulshear. Cheapest by far, no hidden fees and its a huge farm where they play all day.
